A free coaching initiative named “Super-50” has been taken to promote students, who are dreaming to serve the nation by joining Civil services. Total 50 aspirants have been selected from SC/ ST/ OBC and the general category of “Kabirdham” district of Chhattisgarh to join this course.
Foundation of this coaching class was laid back on 15th Aug 2017. This free coaching class in the form of career guidance is being conducted at "Naveen Government Mahavidyalaya” of Kabirdham district. 50 most deserving Candidates have been selected on the basis of merit basis on the scores of assessment test conducted. Selected 50 candidates are now doing preparation for state Civil Services examination 2017. At present teachers of the coaching class are helping students to prepare for “Mains Examination”. Free seminar and guidance session is already being conducted by honorable Collector and CEO of District Panchayat.
Deputy Collector Chandrakant Kaushik, Vipul Gupta, and Abhishek Deewan are also giving classes to students. This unique initiative from the district Administration could have been possible because of the contribution done by Administrative officers by extending their guidance and support and valuable time to encourage and motivate students. Kudos to Administrative officers and the Government for this Nobel thought of giving back to society; hope this becomes revolutionary in shaping the career of students. Students are excited that they are receiving guidance and direction from Administrative officers which has boosted their confidence and considerably increased the probability of their selection. Many students have already been selected in other government departments. Few names like Sanju Verma, Ajay Gedam and Ravi Pathak are selected by the administration as regular teachers. These teachers are coaching students on various subjects of examination syllabus for free. Students are very happy on this initiative from District Administration. Locals are grateful to district Administration on this initiative. Process for state civil services examination 2018 has also now started; let’s hope for bright results moving way forward.
